Job Description

Ledgent is partnering with a manufacturing client looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The client is open to candidates right out of public accounting (CPA preferred) looking to make the move to private industry).

Direct Hire. Up to $120,0000+/annually. On-site (5x/week, must live locally).

Details:

  • Comprehend and perform analysis of transactions within the ERP system to determine the impact on the company's financial performance.
  • Execute month-end system closing transactions and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.
  • Monitor capital expenditures and assist with monthly depreciation entries.
  • Assist in overseeing inventory management, including monitoring levels, conducting standard cost changes, reconciling discrepancies, reviewing weekly cycle counts, and assisting in leading the annual physical inventory process.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, cost analysis reports, and other management reports to support decision-making.
  • Help maintain data integrity within the ERP system ensuring consistency and providing support to all departments when changes are requested for new or updated information.
  • Provide support and guidance to the finance team as an indirect leader by offering assistance and addressing their inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • 4+ years in public accounting working with manufacturing clients (preferred)
  • CPA (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel User (required)
